Using the AMB Active System, the most technologically advanced transponder timing system in the world today, Cadence Sports offers a turn-key timing solution for a multitude of athletic events. Bicycle racing/rides, triathlons, road and adventure races are only a few examples where Cadence Sports can add considerable value to an event.

The AMB technology, created in 1982, is currently being utilized by the Tour De France, Vuelta a Espana, Olympic Games, IRL, Nascar, and Formula 1, among others. Relative to other "chip" systems, this superior technology is capable of accurately scoring 80 participants per second over a track width of 36 feet.

The AMB system capabilities are especially appealing to the sport of bicycle racing where accurately scoring a 'sprint' finish has not been possible in the past. Imagine instantly providing athlete split times, information relay and several individual scores, simultaneously, over a complete road without the use of oversized mats with a narrow range.
