| Gary Metcalf, and his partners, formed Cadence Sports in the summer of 2005 to provide innovative services to the multitude of events that are in the process of growing, and are looking to add an element of professionalism while providing an irreplaceable added value to the participants, fans, and sponsors alike. Gary's sports background started as a nationally ranked youth triathlete before committing to the sport of Soccer and playing through college. Now, again submerged in the endurance arena as an active triathlete, Gary is focusing his attention on the overall structure of Cadence Sports. While always maintaining the timing facet as its core competency, Gary is constantly working on other avenues of growth for Cadence given the numerous dynamic needs of events today. Gary heads up Cadence's involvement with world-renowned events such as the Amgen Tour of California and the Ford Tour de Georgia. At age 23, Gary founded the Dairy Queen Tour of Columbus, which is currently one of the largest amateur bike races in the state of Texas. Regardless of the sport, Gary is a true believer in being active and living a vibrant lifestyle and has geared Cadence to assist those who share the same values.
